About Raychat

Raychat is built by one person — me, Rohan Yeole, a Django and Python developer.

I've been writing Python professionally since 2018, shipping production backends, REST APIs, and SaaS platforms for companies across India,
the US, and Germany — most recently at Data Axle (US, remote) and Feature Project GmbH (Germany, remote), before that at Aretove Technology in India.

A lot of that work involved wiring up chat/support widgets for client sites — and the tools available were either genuinely free but stuck at “human chat only,” or the moment you wanted AI answering repeat questions, the pricing jumped to something a small site couldn't justify. Raychat  started as the tool I wished existed: real-time human live chat that's actually free to use — unlimited websites, no trial clock, no seat limits — with AI support as a paid upgrade only once you actually want it, not a bait-and-switch to get you signed up.

I build and run Raychat  solo — no funding, no team, just shipping features that make sense for a small site owner to actually use. If something's broken or missing, that's me to talk to directly, not a support queue.

Outside of Raychat, I do freelance Django/Python/AWS development and technical SEO work — you can see more of that at rohanyeole.com.
