Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account info — your email and a hashed password when you sign up. We never store your password in plain text.
• Chat content — messages and any files/images sent through a live chat conversation, so the conversation history is available to the site owner and (if applicable) their agents.
• Website analytics— for verified properties only, we log page views, referrers, and an approximate country (derived from your network, via Cloudflare's edge — we never see or store your raw IP address for this). Visitors are tracked by a one-way hashed identifier, not anything personally identifying, and this hash can't be reversed back to an IP address or device.
• Cookies — used only to keep you signed in (access/refresh session tokens). No third-party ad or tracking cookies.

What we don't do

We don't sell data to anyone, we don't run ads on Raychat, and we don't share your account or chat data with third parties except the infrastructure providers below, strictly to run the service itself.

Who processes it

Raychat runs on a single server, fronted by Cloudflare (for TLS/CDN and bot protection) and using standard email delivery to send account emails (password resets, etc.). None of these providers use your data for their own purposes — they only handle it on our behalf to deliver the service.

Your controls

You can delete a website/property (and its associated data) at any time from your dashboard's account settings. Deleting your account removes your login credentials; reach out via Contact below if you want full data erasure beyond that.

Children's privacy

Raychatisn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

If this changes materially, the “Last updated” date above will change too. Significant changes will be communicated by email where practical.
